Welcome

Thanks for visiting my website.  I hope you will find some useful information about what’s happening in the Port Adelaide electorate, local media releases, and links to the latest news from Canberra and my parliamentary speeches.

While Federal Parliament meets in Canberra for around 20 weeks a year, I believe it is important to be active in the local community, to know what is going on, and to find out what's important to people living in the electorate.

If you would like to let me know about a community event, or suggest a location for a street corner meeting, please give my office a call.

SAVE OUR SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY

ASC at Osborne maintains our Collins Class submarines and is building our Air Warfare Destroyers - the largest defence project ever undertaken in the nation. Around 3,000 people are employed at ASC and nearby suppliers. ASC was set to build our Future Submarines. The Liberal Government has recently sent shipbuilding contracts overseas and now seems set to break their promise to build the submarines at ASC.
